Marketing

Sherry’s background represents experience in public relations, event
planning, marketing and community relations. Her 15-year career began in PR at Atlanta’s premier event facility, the Georgia World Congress Center.
Following, Sherry served as an account executive for a national advertising
agency’s PR group. She represented accounts such as American Airlines in
event coordination and promotion, as well as media and community relations. She’s also spent time as a meeting and convention manager for an association in Dallas, TX. Currently she is the marketing manager for Randstad North America where she is responsible for development of national promotions, design and production of sales collateral and managing the company’s marketing project coordinators.

Now a third-year member of Atlanta’s Junior League, Sherry works with the
Center for Positive Aging, serving primarily as the center’s photographer.
Past history of volunteerism includes chairing media relations committees
for the March of Dimes’ 1990 WalkAmerica event, and for the grand opening of Dallas’ Museum of African American History.

Sherry’s work with Concert2Cure is in memory of her father Bob Jenkins, who died of Lung Cancer in 1997.
