Dear Future Concert2Cure Supporter,

More than one million Americans are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many, many more of us are impacted by the news that our friends or family have been stricken. Devastating as this is, many survive, and that life-changing experience becomes a call to action.

Atlanta businessman David Baumgarten is one of those people. As a cancer survivor, he wants to help others realize victory in their fight.Along with the American Cancer Society, he has organized a benefit concert called “Concert2Cure ,” a celebration of music and life featuring various Georgia musicians.  “One of the reasons I am alive today is because of the work done by volunteers and contributors to the American Cancer Society,” says Baumgarten.  “Now that I can, it’s my turn to give back.”

This exciting performance will be held on March 3rd from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. in downtown Atlanta’s Tabernacle concert hall.  Artists who will entertain include: Arrested Development; Michelle Malone; The Breeze Kings; Theodis Easley; The Francisco Vidal band; Deep Blue Sun and GuruFish.  The music represented ranges from folk to rock, and pop to alternative -- as well as the blues. You can help make this event a success, and honor those whose lives are forever changed by the experience of cancer. Concert2Cure organizers are seeking your financial support of this inaugural event. The goal is to raise $100,000 from ticket sales and event sponsorships.  Media sponsors are in place and many companies (including The Tabernacle) have made donations of products, time, and services.
Your cash sponsorship will help defray operating expenses, assuring that the funds raised will directly benefit the American Cancer Society and ensure their programs will result in support of research, cancer control and patient services programs.

Your participation also benefits your company!  Besides being tax-deductible, your money will deliver a variety of marketing benefits outlined in the attached sponsorship profiles. Your gift will help make Concert2Cure a victory in the war on cancer! Please call me today to find out more.

Sincere Thanks,

A Concert2Cure Volunteer
