Atlanta-based STB plays high intensity, incendiary agit-pop in the tradition of Iggy & the Stooges, Siouxsie & the Banshees and early Pretenders. With music veterans Lee Kennedy on bass, Becky Shaw on drums and Sonia Tetlow on guitar/ vocals, the trio blends melody and edge into their provocative music. Together since the summer of 1998, STB has made its mark through solid recordings and consistently strong shows, touring from the Southeast to the Bitter End and CBGB's in New York to the ROCKRGRL Conference in Seattle, WA. STB released their debut album, SPIT, in February 2000. Produced by Rob Gal, the ten tracks on SPIT captured the bandÕs fiery energy and musical depth. >From rockinÕ punk anthems like ÒantiÓ to the sweet groove of Òbeggar, queen & thief," SPIT was named Òone of the most powerful first albums from an Atlanta band in yearsÓ by Atlanta Press Magazine.
